WE  PROVIDE TRAINING

INTRODUCTION CLASS

Orientation class covering: how to represent God in the hospital, visiting patients, following correct procedures, safety and confidentiality requirement, prayer principles and active listening.  New chaplains are assigned a mentor who leads the chaplains in the correct procedures and teaches the do's and don'ts for hospital visiting.

ADVANCED TRAINING

Special speakers at our monthly meetings are invited to cover various topics such as dealing with special patients, trauma, end of life decisions, grief, loss and crisis.

TRAINING

Topics include equipping and setting goals for new chaplains

and Jesus the perfect mentor.
